The first Supplier Development Programme launched by the Carinthian Economic Development Fund is offering new market opportunities for Carinthian businesses!
12 businesses from various sectors took part in the one-year programme, taking advantage of the cross-business synergies to develop their skills and capabilities to become qualified suppliers and open up new business areas. The initial results were presented at the concluding workshop held recently at the Lakeside Park in Klagenfurt, attended by Deputy State Governor Gabriele Schaunig: the programme resulted in the creation of a “Competence Group for Clean Production”, with the aim of joining forces to serve the market and deliver large-scale projects. Five innovative SMEs with expertise in clean rooms, including PMS, are pooling their resources to offer combined solutions for customers in Austria and around the world – industrial firms from the pharmaceutical, food, semiconductor and medical sectors.
“Without the Supplier Development Programme this partnership would never have come about. This programme brought together people from various businesses with the same goal, namely to forge a successful future for their own business”, said Alfred Krobath, Managing Director of PMS Elektro- und Automationstechnik GmbH.
