You need to be able to work in a team and take responsibility – and you should be able to handle pressure. And you need to be prepared to think outside the box.

 
What do you most enjoy about your job?

Consulting with project managers (planners) and allocating staff to different tasks.

 

What isn’t part of the job?

Costing and financials.

Does it involve contact with customers, and if so, where and how?

Yes – we’re the people customers talk to about projects, modifications, progress etc.

 

What makes this job different from other jobs at PMS?

You head up your own team, and you need to delegate everything until the project is delivered.
