Christof Holding AG (CHAG for short, based in Graz in Styria) and PMS Elektro- und Automationstechnik GmbH (PMS for short, based in St. Stefan in Carinthia) have agreed that the 51% stake in PMS held by CHAG will be acquired by Alfred Krobath and Franz Grünwald, previously co-shareholders. The acquisition will take effect on 30 July 2017, and both sides have agreed not to disclose the acquisition price.
PMS planned from the start to pursue full independence as a business, and after a 12-year period of growth and development this plan has become reality.
“Our medium-term business plan included this milestone from the beginning. The time has now come for us to operate on the market as a powerful, independent business. We would like to thank the Christof group for such a productive working relationship and a partnership based on mutual trust over the last few years”, said Krobath and Grünwald, now the sole Managing Directors of PMS.
Johann Christof Sr, Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Christof Holding AG, is delighted at this positive development and believes there is still huge potential for cooperation with PMS. “We will definitely continue to work together on various projects and use our mutual expertise for the benefit of customers.”
